Who we are

Good News Auto Detailing & Window Tinting operates a single shop at 9204 US Hwy 301, Tampa, Florida 33637, open daily from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. This policy explains how we handle information submitted through this website — mainly what happens when you use our contact form, call the shop, email us, or view an embedded map on one of our pages. It does not cover the detailing, coating or tinting work we perform on your vehicle, only how we handle personal information connected to this site.

If you have any question about this policy, or about information we may hold about you, you can reach us by phone at 813-810-1480 or by email at Sam@goodnewsautodetailing.com.

Information we collect

Information you provide directly

When you fill out the contact form on this site, we ask for:

  • Your name
  • Your phone number
  • Your email address
  • Basic vehicle details, such as the year, make and model
  • Your preferred date for an appointment
  • Any message or notes you want to add

We ask for this information so we can identify who is reaching out, understand what service you're interested in, quote you accurately, and get back to you through whichever channel is easiest. Fields that aren't strictly needed for us to respond are optional, though leaving them blank may mean we have to call you before we can give you a firm quote. If you call the shop directly or email us, we will naturally see your phone number or email address and whatever you choose to tell us in that conversation. We keep only what is reasonably needed to serve you — for example, scheduling notes tied to your appointment.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, this site may collect some technical information automatically as part of normal operation — things like your browser type, the pages you view, how long you spend on a page, the site you arrived from, and general location information inferred from your IP address (typically no more precise than city level). This information comes through standard analytics and hosting logs and is used in aggregate; we do not use it to build a detailed profile of you as an individual visitor.

How we use your information

We use the information described above to:

  • Respond to quote requests and messages sent through the contact form
  • Call, text or email you back about scheduling, pricing or the status of a request
  • Keep basic records of the vehicles and appointments we've worked on
  • Understand which pages and services visitors are interested in, so we can keep the site useful
  • Meet ordinary legal, accounting or safety obligations that require us to keep certain records

We do not use information submitted through the contact form for unrelated marketing without a clear, separate way for you to agree to it.

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small text files a website can place on your device to remember information between visits. This site may use a small number of cookies for purposes such as remembering that you've dismissed a banner, keeping basic analytics on how the site is used, and supporting embedded third-party content such as a Google Map. Most browsers let you view, block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking all cookies may affect how some parts of the site behave, but the site will still function for the purpose of finding our number, address and services.

Third-party services we use

Contact form processing

We use a third-party form service to deliver form submissions to our email. When you submit the contact form, the information you type is passed through that provider so it can reach our inbox reliably. We do not control that provider's own internal systems, but we only use services that are built for this purpose and we do not authorize them to use your information for anything beyond delivering it to us.

Google Maps

Some pages on this site embed a Google Map so you can see our location and get directions. When a map loads, Google may set its own cookies and collect information according to its own privacy policy, independent of this site. We do not control what Google does with that information. If you would prefer not to interact with an embedded map, you can instead use the plain address and the link to our Google Business Profile provided in the footer of every page.

Analytics

We may use standard website analytics to understand overall traffic patterns — for example, how many people visit a page, on what kind of device, and roughly where from. This is used in aggregate to improve the site and is not used to identify you personally.

How long we keep information

We keep information submitted through the contact form, by phone or by email for no longer than necessary to respond to your request, complete any related appointment, and satisfy ordinary business, accounting or legal record-keeping needs. When information is no longer needed for those purposes, we take reasonable steps to delete it or render it non-identifying.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Information may be shared with a small number of service providers who help us run this website and communicate with customers — for example, the company that processes our contact form and delivers submissions to our email, and standard hosting or analytics providers. These providers only receive what they need to do that job. We may also disclose information where we are required to by law, or to protect the safety of our staff, customers or property.

Your choices and rights

You can:

  • Choose not to submit the contact form and instead call or visit the shop directly
  • Ask what information we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct information that is wrong
  • Ask us to delete information we hold about you

To do any of this, email Sam@goodnewsautodetailing.com or call 813-810-1480 and we will handle your request as quickly as we reasonably can. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information under local law; contacting us directly is the fastest way to exercise them with a business our size.

Children's privacy

This website and our services are intended for adults arranging work on a vehicle, not for children. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and the contact form is not designed for use by minors. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will remove it.

This site may link to other websites, such as our social media profiles or our Google Business Profile. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of any website we don't operate ourselves. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit after leaving ours.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in how we operate this website or in applicable law. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to check back occasionally if you want to stay informed.
