Full auto detailing · interior shampoo from $125

A full detail undoes what a Tampa summer does to a car.

Sand from the coast, love bugs on the grille every spring and fall, pollen dust on the paint most afternoons, and UV pouring through the glass all year — a full detail resets the vehicle inside and out instead of just wiping down the parts you can see from the driver's seat.

What a full detail covers, inside and out

It's two separate jobs really — the cabin and the exterior — done to the same standard in the same visit.

Inside, Florida humidity holds onto odors longer than drier climates do, and sand tracked in from a Sunday at the beach works its way into carpet fibers and seat tracks if it isn't pulled out properly. We vacuum every seat track and corner of the trunk, then shampoo-extract the carpets and seats so the smell and the grit leave with the water instead of getting pushed around.

Outside, the exterior wash removes the ordinary road film along with the things that are particular to this part of the state — love bug splatter that shows up hard every May and September and etches paint fast if it sits, tree sap and pollen dust that build up under live oaks, and the tar and rail dust that collect on a daily commute. Wheels, tires and exterior trim get cleaned and dressed as part of the same pass.

Two add-ons come up on almost every detail we do here: headlight restoration, because Tampa's UV clouds and yellows plastic lenses faster than most drivers expect, and engine bay cleaning, which also happens to be a good moment to spot a leak, a loose hose, or a rodent nest — more common in Florida carports and garages than people assume.

This service fits daily drivers who eat and commute in the car, families with kids or pets, sellers prepping a trade-in or private sale, and seasonal residents pulling a vehicle out of storage that has been sitting under a carport all summer.

How we work through it

Four passes, one vehicle.

Interior and exterior are handled as two distinct stages so nothing gets rushed to keep the other side moving.

01

Interior teardown

Mats come out, seat tracks and door pockets get vacuumed, and stains are pretreated before any shampoo goes down.

02

Shampoo & extraction

Hot-water extraction pulls the shampoo back out of the carpet and seat foam along with the dirt and odor it lifted, instead of leaving damp residue behind.

03

Exterior wash & decon

A hand wash followed by bug, tar and rail-dust decontamination, then wheels, tires and trim get their own cleaning pass.

04

Final detail

Engine bay, headlight restoration if needed, interior glass, trim dressing, and a walk-around before it goes back to you.

Pricing

Interior shampoo starts at $125.

Exterior work, engine bay cleaning and headlight restoration are quoted once we see the vehicle's size and condition.

Vehicle size, how much pet hair or odor is involved, and whether you add exterior decontamination, engine bay cleaning or headlight restoration all factor into the final number. Call with your year, make and model and we'll walk you through it before you book.

Full detailing FAQ

The questions we get asked every week.

A full detail covers the interior and the exterior. Inside, that means a full vacuum, seat and carpet shampoo extraction, and hand-cleaning of the dash, console, door panels and vents. Outside, it's a hand wash with bug and tar decontamination, wheel and tire cleaning, and a trim dressing. Engine bay cleaning and headlight restoration are common add-ons we can include the same visit.

Interior shampoo starts at $125. The exterior wash, engine bay cleaning and headlight restoration are quoted once we see the vehicle, since a compact sedan and a three-row SUV with a neglected interior are very different jobs.

Most vehicles take two to four hours for a full interior and exterior detail. Heavier jobs — deep pet odor, sand-packed carpets, or a full engine bay and headlight restoration added on — can run longer.

Yes. Engine bay cleaning is a wipe-down and degreasing pass that also makes it easier to spot a leak, a loose hose, or the kind of rodent nest that turns up more often than people expect in Florida garages and carports.

That's one of the most common requests we get. Extraction shampooing lifts hair and treats odor at the source in the carpet and seat foam rather than covering it up with a spray. Heavier odor or hair jobs take longer, which we'll tell you upfront.

Most daily-driven vehicles here do well with a full detail every three to four months. Cars that sit outside through pollen season, get sand tracked in from the coast, or go through the spring and fall love bug swarms often need it sooner.
